COMPARE

Peak next to the software you're looking at.

Fair side-by-sides with 27 tools contractors use: what they charge, what they do well, and where free Peak tools are different. Checked October 19, 2026.

TL;DR

The Peak tools (leads, estimates, e-sign, invoices, jobs, crews and photos) are $0. Free when sign-up opens (soon). You bring your own accounts for AI, texting, email and payments. Today the tools come with every Peak service plan. Sherpa, the assistant, works across every tool, and anything that reaches a customer or moves money waits for your OK. Some of these companies are ahead of us on some features. Each page says where.

FIELD SERVICE SOFTWARE

Scheduling, dispatch, quotes and invoices for home service trades.

THE SAME ON EVERY PAGE

Where Peak is different.

The software is free

No per-user fee and no contract for the tools. You bring your own accounts for AI, texting, email and payments, and pay those companies directly at their prices. We don't mark them up.

Sherpa does the work, inside rules

Tell Sherpa "add a note to Susan Park: gate goes on the north side." It finds her and adds it, or asks you to reply YES first when the rules say so. Anything that reaches a customer or moves money waits for your approval. You can see every rule, and you can only make them stricter.

Your data, your accounts

When sign-up opens, your customer data lives in a database you own, not ours. Export it any time. If you leave, you take everything with you.

A team if you want one

You can run the tools on your own. If you'd rather have help, our team runs the marketing, lead follow-up and AI setup for you on a paid plan.

See exactly what Sherpa will and won't do on the Sherpa rules page.

ABOUT THESE PAGES

How we wrote them.

We read each company's own public pages: pricing, features, help center and app store listings. We didn't sign up, log in or use anyone's private data. Each page lists its sources and the date we read them. If we couldn't confirm something, we left it out. Prices change, so check the company's site before you buy.

Peak Engine earns money from services: marketing, lead follow-up, AI setup and creative work. The tools are how we do that work, so we give them away. You pay your own AI, texting, email and payment providers directly.

When sign-up opens, your customer records live in a database that belongs to you, and texting, email, AI and payments run on your own accounts. Peak holds your sign-in and the encrypted keys that connect those accounts. If you leave, your data is already yours.

No. Several of these companies are ahead of us on things like app store apps, payroll, AI phone answering and deep job costing. Each page says where. Peak is free, runs on your own accounts, and has an assistant that works across every tool.

Email hello@peak-engine.com and we'll fix it. We'd rather be accurate than flattering.
