FREE CALCULATOR · ESTIMATE ONLY

Court and slab cost calculator.

Pick a court size, type in your own prices, and get a rough total for the base, surface, fence and lights.

TL;DR

Choose a pickleball, tennis or basketball pad (or enter your own size), then enter your price per square foot for the base and the surface, your fence and light prices, and an allowance for site work. The calculator multiplies it out. It's a rough number to start a quote, not a quote.

Estimate only. This multiplies your own prices by the size. It doesn't know your soil, grading, drainage, access, permits or local costs, and it isn't a quote. Pad sizes are common planning sizes; check the sport's rules and your site.

THE MATH

How it works.

  1. Area = length × width. A single pickleball pad of 30 × 60 ft is 1,800 sq ft.
  2. Base and surface = area × your price per square foot.
  3. Fence = feet of fence × your price per foot. Lights = poles × your price per pole.
  4. Contingency = subtotal × your percent, for grading, drainage, permits and surprises.
  5. Concrete volume = area × thickness ÷ 12 ÷ 27, in cubic yards (no waste added).

QUESTIONS

Common questions.

The playing area is 20 × 44 ft. A common pad for one court, with room to play around it, is 30 × 60 ft. Check USA Pickleball's guidance and your site before you build.

Prices swing a lot by region, soil, access and season, and we won't publish numbers we can't back up. Enter your own or your supplier's prices.

No. It's a rough estimate from the numbers you type in. A real quote needs a site visit.
