Search Everything With One Bar

• On a Mac, iPhone or iPad keyboard, press Cmd+K. On Windows, press Ctrl+K.
• Or click "Search everything…" at the top of the page.
• The bar is in the CRM and on Basecamp. PM and the Estimator get it soon.

1. 1Type at least 2 letters or numbers: a name, phone number, email or street address.
2. 2Results show in groups: Contacts, Leads, Deals, Estimates, Invoices and Projects, up to 6 in each.
3. 3Use the up and down arrow keys and press Enter to open one, or click it. Press Esc to close the bar.

Phone numbers match however you type them. A whole number, the last 7 digits or the last 4 digits all work. A few digits from the middle won't.

You only see what your role can see, and only from the Peak tools your business uses.

On a contact's page, the bar shows "On this screen" actions: start a new estimate or project for that person, open their newest project, or text them. A text is drafted by Sherpa, and you approve it before it goes.

In the CRM, the last row of results says "Ask Sherpa" with what you typed. Choose it and your words go into the Sherpa box, ready to send. Nothing happens until you press send.
